Answers for Your Project

Can I change the resin and keep the same mold?

A resin change may affect shrinkage, flow and fit. Review the new grade and trial requirements before approving the change.

How are color and texture approved?

Provide the color reference and texture requirement. Agree viewing conditions and approve representative molded samples before production.

What if my drawing has tight tolerances?

Mark the critical features and datums. Review resin, geometry, conditioning and measurement method together; a blanket tolerance does not apply to every molded feature.

How are repeat-order changes controlled?

Identify the approved CAD revision, resin grade, color and sample. Agree how material, mold or process changes are reviewed and approved for the next order.
