YOUR COMPOUND. YOUR EXPOSURE. YOUR FINISHED PART.
Review custom seals, flexible components and laminate parts for your drawing. Compare rubber compounds, thermoplastic elastomers and rigid composites around media, load, movement and final fit. Agree the full material specification and manufacturing route before production.
Material availability and manufacturing scope require review for your drawing.

Flexible elastomers and rigid laminates need different selection criteria. Review the actual compound, grade and supply form.

For your flexible seals and molded components, specify the compound, cure state, hardness and required evidence. LSR describes a processing form; it is not every silicone product.
Review requirements →
For your grips, grommets and flexible parts, review the exact thermoplastic elastomer, hardness, exposure and bonding requirements. TPU is one TPE family.
Review requirements →
Review your weather and water exposure against the actual compound. Do not assume compatibility with oils or fuels from the family name.
Review requirements →
For your oil-contact seal review, define the exact fluid, temperature, time and movement. Confirm the full nitrile compound and final dimensions.
Review requirements →
For your demanding seal exposure, review compound-specific media and temperature evidence. A brand name or color does not identify every FKM compound.
Review requirements →
For your insulating plates and machined laminates, retain the exact laminate designation, thickness and direction. G10 and FR4 are not automatic substitutes.
Review requirements →
For your rigid lightweight components, specify fiber, resin, layup, orientation, thickness and edge requirements. Woven appearance alone is not a complete specification.
Review requirements →
Keep your controlled manufacturer product and revision. Agree purchasing responsibility, material identity, condition and acceptance before machining or molding.
Review requirements →
Share the exact material and product form on your drawing. Specialty supply, processing and inspection scope need a project-specific review.
Review requirements →Confirm compound and cure condition. Hardness, compression behavior and media compatibility need separate review.

WACKER ELASTOSIL LR 3003 series · Shore A hardness · ISO 48-4
Typical values from the same supplier guide. These are two silicone products, not a ranking of EPDM, NBR, FKM, TPE or rigid laminates. Confirm current exact product, cure and test conditions.
Supplier guide, page 96 →Specify the complete rubber compound or TPE grade, supply form, cure system where applicable and agreed sample. Raw-polymer viscosity is not finished-part Shore hardness.
Identify the stock producer, product, condition, thickness, direction and lot. A resin data sheet alone does not identify unspecified cured rubber or rigid laminate stock.
Name every fluid and cleaner, concentration, temperature and exposure time. Review the exact compound under combined conditions; a generic compatibility label is only a starting point.

Define groove, squeeze, movement, pressure and mating surface. Hardness alone does not establish seal performance or long-term compression set.

Separate processing temperature, test temperature and actual service exposure. Review sustained load, cycling and the full product evidence together.

For laminates and composites, identify reinforcement, resin and direction. Agree hole quality, exposed edges and dimensional inspection without transferring rubber test methods.

Review the exact two materials, surface preparation, geometry and process. A visually attached sample does not prove adhesion for your load and environment.

Retain manufacturer product, suffix, color, lot and processing condition. Material documents, dimensions and functional approval are separate records.

Review cured stock or rigid laminate, support, edge quality and final measurement.

No. Confirm the full compound, cure or supply state, dimensions, operating conditions and required records. Two products with the same hardness can behave differently in service.
No. TPU is a thermoplastic polyurethane family within thermoplastic elastomers. Specify the complete product and route rather than treating TPE as a single formulation.
No. Review the actual medium, temperature, load, motion and geometry, then approve the exact compound and sample for your application.
No. They are rigid glass-epoxy laminate designations. Retain the exact laminate standard and product; no automatic equivalence or approval is implied.
No. Agree material traceability, final dimensions and any functional tests separately. Food-contact, medical, flame or other regulated requirements need product-specific evidence.
Send CAD and controlled drawing, full material or approved alternatives, product form, quantities, media, temperature, load, movement, critical fits and required inspection records.
Silicone, EPDM, NBR and FKM identify polymer directions. Full compound, cure state and agreed finished-part evidence remain necessary. TPU is one thermoplastic elastomer family.
Keep G10 or FR4 designation, resin, reinforcement, thickness, layup and direction. Trade names or regional shorthand do not approve a substitute or create an EN/DIN equivalence.
Generated images illustrate part concepts; they do not identify actual compounds, customer parts or company manufacturing records.
