YOUR PPS GRADE. YOUR ROUTE. YOUR FINISHED FIT.
Review custom PPS parts for CNC machining or injection molding. Specify the complete stock or resin product, reinforcement, working conditions and critical dimensions so your quotation and sample approval cover the same part.
Material availability and manufacturing scope are reviewed for your drawing.

Start with the full manufacturer product and purchasing form. These are review directions, not interchangeable grades or stock promises.

For your Fortron 1140L4 custom molded parts quote, retain the full resin designation. Review mold flow, fiber direction, ejection and your approved sample.

For your Ryton R4-200 custom molded parts quote, confirm the current manufacturer product and processing instructions. Do not replace Fortron 1140L4 without validation.

For your TECATRON GF40 machining quote, identify the actual glass-filled PPS stock, color, form and lot. Review fiber direction, edge quality and finished fit.

For your TECATRON PVX machining quote, review the complete bearing-grade stock with its mating surface, speed and load. It is a separate carbon-fiber, PTFE and graphite modified product.

Typical stock-product references, not design allowables, a wear-life ranking or a finished-part guarantee. Confirm current product, direction and test conditions. Glass-filled GF40 and wear-modified PVX are not interchangeable.

For PPS machining services, confirm the stock-shape manufacturer, product, form, dimensions and lot. A PPS injection resin datasheet does not identify unspecified stock.

For your PPS injection molding quote, share the full resin, mold scope, order quantities and critical fits. Confirm drying, process and sample acceptance against current exact-grade instructions.
For PPS drying, use current exact-grade manufacturer instructions and actual handling evidence. Do not apply one universal drying recipe to every reinforced or modified product.

PPS shrinkage and PPS warpage depend on grade, fiber orientation, geometry and processing. Review gates, cooling, datums and the measured molded sample together.

When should bearing grade PPS be used instead of glass filled PPS? Review load, speed, lubrication, counterface and exposure. Glass fibers can affect mating-part wear; a family name is not a wear-life guarantee.

For PPS chemical resistance, identify medium, concentration, temperature, time and load. Review your actual product and exposure rather than treating general resistance as a service guarantee.

What causes glass filled PPS parts to break during ejection? Review draft, undercuts, sticking, local wall sections, fiber orientation and ejection support with the tool and approved process. A forum discussion is not a process specification.

PPS finished part inspection requirements need agreed datums, critical dimensions, support and measurement conditions. Preserve PPS stock or resin grade traceability and material certification separately from functional approval.

Review full resin, flow, cooling and the approved production sample.

Process availability and material scope require confirmation for your drawing.
| Your check | Evidence to agree |
|---|---|
| 1 | PPS stock or resin grade traceability: manufacturer, full grade, suffix, color, form and lot. |
| 2 | PPS finished part inspection requirements: datums, dimensions, edge quality and agreed measurement state. |
| 3 | PPS material certification, approved sample and specified functional records. |
PPS finished part inspection requirements must define the final measurement state. Material identity is separate from functional approval.

No. Confirm manufacturer, full grade and suffix, color, purchasing form and current product documents. Reinforcement shorthand does not approve a substitute.
No automatic interchangeability is assumed. Review current product data, processing, dimensions, appearance and functional sample approval for your application.
No. Use the data for the actual stock product and agreed direction and conditions. Stock processing and molded resin specimens provide different evidence.
Fiber orientation can change directional behavior and visible surfaces. Review geometry, flow, texture and sample acceptance instead of assuming a uniform shrinkage allowance.
Agree full material identity and lot, applicable product evidence, approved drawing and sample, dimensional report and any specified functional tests. No blanket regulated-use approval is implied.
Send CAD and controlled drawing, full resin or stock grade and color, route, quantities, load, media and temperature, critical fits and required records. Review Fortron 6165A4 or Ryton R7-120 as separate named products when your drawing specifies them.

PPS is polyphenylene sulfide. Reinforcement and modifiers vary by product; no universal formulation is asserted. European suppliers use PPS, PPS GF40 and full manufacturer product names. Reference names do not authorize substitution or assign an invented EN/DIN equivalent.
Fortron 6165A4 and Ryton R7-120 need their own current datasheets, formulation and processing review. A Fortron 6165A4 custom molded parts quote or Ryton R7-120 custom molded parts quote must retain the complete suffix.
Fortron 1140L4 datasheet, Ryton R4-200 datasheet, TECATRON GF40 datasheet and TECATRON PVX datasheet references describe named products. Material availability and LK manufacturing scope require project confirmation.
