YOUR POLYETHYLENE. YOUR LOAD. YOUR FINISHED FIT.
Plan your custom HDPE parts or LDPE custom parts around the full stock or resin product. Agree load, chemicals, temperature and the state in which your part must fit.
Material availability and manufacturing scope are reviewed for your drawing.

Start with the full manufacturer product and purchasing form. These are review directions, not interchangeable grades or stock promises.

For your HDPE machining services, identify the sheet, rod or tube product and supplied condition. Review material removal, support and final inspection after unclamping.

For your HDPE injection molding quote, specify the full resin grade, color, quantities, tooling and approved sample. A stock-shape datasheet does not identify molding resin.

Review LDPE material properties around flexibility, load and finished geometry. Confirm the actual product; do not assume it replaces HDPE in a precision part.

UHMW-PE is a different polyethylene purchasing and processing direction. Do not assume conventional HDPE injection-molding behavior or interchangeable stock.
For your HDPE machining services, identify the sheet, rod or tube product and supplied condition. Review material removal, support and final inspection after unclamping.
| Your decision | What to confirm |

A resin data sheet does not identify unspecified sheet, rod or tube.

|---|---|
| CNC Stock: Product, Form and Condition | For your HDPE machining quote, identify the complete stock product, color, lot and blank size. Agree material removal, support and free-state dimensional checks. |
| Molding Resin: Full Grade and Sample | For your HDPE injection molding quote, confirm resin grade, color, tooling, quantity and sample criteria. Stock and printed prototypes do not establish molded shrinkage. |
Review geometry, temperature state, support and timing before comparing dimensions.
| Your decision | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Assembly | Mating parts, contact media and assembly stress |
| Processing | Heat history, cooling and support |
| Inspection | Datums, support and agreed method |
Material records must correspond to the product and batch actually supplied.

| Finished part | Dimensions and functional sample approval |
| No automatic equivalence | Printed or machined prototypes do not validate molded-part performance |

Two named extruded stock products. DIN EN ISO 527, MPa.
Bars show stated lower thresholds, not exact values or a 5× stiffness claim. Guideline stock data is not a creep curve, finished-part guarantee or substitution approval.

For your HDPE machining quote, identify the complete stock product, color, lot and blank size. Agree material removal, support and free-state dimensional checks.

For your HDPE injection molding quote, confirm resin grade, color, tooling, quantity and sample criteria. Stock and printed prototypes do not establish molded shrinkage.
For HDPE dimensional stability, agree the time after machining, temperature, support and measurement state. Review asymmetric removal and original stock stress before approving flatness.

HDPE creep depends on load, temperature, time and geometry. For your support or bushing, agree long-term deflection and mating clearance; short-term tensile data is insufficient.

For HDPE stress cracking, assess the exact resin, stress, medium, concentration, temperature and contact duration together. General chemical resistance does not establish ESCR.

For polyethylene welding, confirm the exact products, joint preparation and qualified procedure. Agree joint inspection and intended function; do not infer joint performance from base material.

Use agreed datums, support and measurement force to avoid deforming your part. Record temperature and restraint; clamped flatness and free-state flatness are different acceptance conditions.

HDPE material certification must identify the actual product, color, form and batch. Machined or printed HDPE prototype parts do not establish molded-part shrinkage or service life.

Process availability and material scope require confirmation for your drawing.
| Your check | Evidence to agree |
|---|---|
| 1 | Full stock or resin product, color, lot and purchasing form. |
| 2 | Finished dimensions: supports, restraint, temperature, timing and measuring force. |
| 3 | Agreed function tests, sample approval, supplier records and delivery condition. |
PE, HDPE & LDPE finished part inspection requirements must define the final measurement state. Material identity is separate from functional approval.

Material stress and unbalanced removal can change the free-state shape. Review stock history, geometry, workholding and removal sequence; confirm final dimensions after releasing the part. No universal annealing recipe is specified.
Agree free or restrained state, supports, temperature, timing, datums and measurement force before production. Record the same conditions at sample approval and receipt.
Not automatically. Review the exact product, stiffness, creep, finished geometry and measurement method. Family names are not substitution approval.
Do not assume the same conventional route. Confirm the complete UHMW-PE grade and a suitable supplier processing route before quoting or approving a sample.
Define resin, medium, concentration, temperature, stress and duration, then agree a relevant test method and acceptance criteria. Coupon data is not a universal service-life guarantee.
For your HDPE machining quote, send CAD and controlled drawing, full product or approved alternatives, stock or resin route, quantities, working conditions, critical fits, finish, material records and delivery needs.
Material references: LyondellBasell. Candidate material families are not inventory or capability commitments.
HDPE and LDPE identify polymer families. Molecular structure, resin formulation, pigments and additives vary by product. Specify declared UV stabilization, fillers or recycled content only with supporting supplier records.
PE, HDPE & LDPE stock or resin grade traceability must connect the full product and batch to the material actually delivered. PEI / ULTEM is a different polymer family.
