Add Support Where Your Supply Chain Needs It

Keep your existing factory and local suppliers.
Use LK MFG where it brings value.

01

Overflow Capacity

Add capacity for selected parts when your existing resources are constrained.

02

Qualified Second Source

Evaluate samples, process and delivery before you approve another supplier.

03

Texas Stock & Scheduled Releases

For agreed programs, discuss inventory quantities and release dates in Texas.

START WITH YOUR MANUFACTURING PRIORITY

Review the Details That Matter to Your Part

Select a topic. Define your inputs, checks and next approval.

For Your Thread Fit & Assembly

Specify thread class, mating parts and functional checks before sample approval.

Thread & Fit

Confirm the thread class, pitch and mating hardware.

Inspection Method

Agree GO/NO-GO gauges and functional-fit checks.

Drawing Revision

Use the controlled drawing and critical callouts.

Sample Approval

Resolve fit and coating allowance before release.

Requirements and inspection scope are agreed for your project.

How We Work

4 steps to clarify your next production decision.

  1. 1

    Share Your Drawing

Send CAD, material, quantity, finish and critical requirements.

  2. 2

    DFM & Quote

Review process options, assumptions and your manufacturing quote.

  3. 3

    Sample & Quality Approval

Approve fit, finish, function and required records.

  4. 4

    Scheduled Delivery

Confirm production, packaging and release arrangements.

Project Requirements & Cost Comparison

Define your specification, compare the quoted scope and prepare your RFQ in one place.

Material & finishRequired recordsDelivery scope

YOUR MATERIAL. YOUR FINISH. YOUR ACCEPTANCE RECORDS.

Material & Documentation Requirements

Define the grade, coating and evidence your buyer needs before the quote is agreed.

Agree Your Report Package Before Production

Tell us which records your buyer requires. Availability, scope, timing and any testing cost must be confirmed in the quotation.

FAI / FAIR

First-article dimensional results against the controlled drawing, revision and numbered characteristics. Request AS9102 format only when contractually required and agreed.

CoC / Certificate of Conformity

Identify the part, revision, order and delivered lot, with an authorized conformity statement. A CoC does not replace measured results or material test data.

MTR / Material Certificate

Material grade, condition, heat/lot traceability and the chemistry/mechanical results required by the order. State EN 10204 3.1 explicitly if needed.

Finish & Test Records

Process specification/revision, processor and batch, with thickness, hardness or other results only for the agreed tests and locations.

PPAP Package

Agree the customer-specific submission level, elements and PSW before the production run. The package may include process flow, PFMEA, control plan, MSA and capability studies as required.

Resin & Lot Traceability

Confirm the resin grade, color, lot record and applicable UL recognition. A supplier datasheet is not a test report for your molded part.

FAI, CoC, material certificates and PPAP serve different purposes. This is a requirements menu, not a claim that every package is included or every program is approved. Customer approval and acceptance remain separate steps.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST ORDER

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you work alongside our existing supplier?

Yes. Start with a selected part or overflow requirement. Your qualification process determines whether LK MFG becomes an approved second source.

What are the typical sample and production lead times?

Timing depends on geometry, quantity, material, tooling and inspection. Send these inputs so your quotation can separate sample, tooling and production milestones.

Can you test threads and assembly fit?

Request thread gauge and mating-part checks in your drawing or RFQ. We confirm the method, scope and required sample hardware before production.

Can you hold inventory in Texas and ship smaller quantities?

Discuss an agreed inventory program, including stock ownership, replenishment, release quantities and delivery addresses. Availability is project-specific.

How do you handle powder-coat color consistency?

Define a physical approved sample, gloss, texture, masking and acceptance criteria. Review coating allowance on threads and mating surfaces.

How are import duties and landed costs handled?

Confirm the quotation’s trade terms, importer responsibilities, freight and duty assumptions. Tariffs depend on classification, origin and current rules; no fixed duty rate is promised.

Can you provide DFM review with specific suggestions?

Send a controlled drawing and CAD file. Review can cover tool access, wall thickness, threads, tolerances and process alternatives for your part.

What payment terms are available?

Terms are confirmed in your quotation and order agreement. Ask about tooling, sample and production payment milestones before placing an order.
